Focus for Survival International Photography Contest 2023

Focus for Survival is a photography initiative dedicated to conservation, inviting participants from all backgrounds, including pre-school, junior school, middle school, and senior school students, to enter their free-to-submit photographic competition. The competition, open annually from 1 February to 30 June, aims to highlight the beauty of the natural world and promote nature conservation. By sharing the story behind their image, participants contribute to raising awareness about the importance of preserving nature. The competition provides an opportunity for photographers to increase their visibility and support frontline conservation projects. Fifteen finalists are selected each year, with their images featured in online galleries and exhibited in prestigious venues such as New York, London, and Edinburgh. The finalists are eligible for the People's Choice Award, determined by public voting, and their images can be purchased as special edition charity prints. Additionally, the competition offers the chance to be shortlisted for the Bradt Guides' Focus for Survival Photographer of the Year Award, with the selected images displayed at exhibitions and proceeds benefiting the Project Fund.
