The Indraprastha MUN 2023 (TIMUN 2023)

Presenting to you the maiden edition of The Indraprastha Model United Nations taking place on 9th-10th November 2023.

We are delighted to offer you these eminent committees planned to be hosted at TIMUN’23: 

1. United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW)
Agenda: Assessing gender issues in conflict states with focus on political participation and decision making roles for women and gender based violence. 

2. United Nations High commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
Agenda: Discussion on the current status of Refugee Laws reviewing the Global Action Plan to End Statelessness (2014-2024) and Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Reintegration of refugees.

3. United Nations General Assembly- Disarmament and International Security (UNGA DISEC) : 
Agenda: Disarmament and peace keeping in the Sudan region, entailing the Sudanese Conflict of 2023.

4. United Nations General Assembly- Economic and Financial Committee (UNGA ECOFIN) : 
Agenda: Improving Global Economic Cooperation to mitigate the rising volatility in financial systems with special emphasis on regulation of Crypto Currency.

5. World Health Organisation (WHO)
Agenda: International response to mental health crisis with special emphasis on stigmatisation and involuntary psychiatric hospitalisation. 

6. All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) 
Agenda: Deliberation on centre-state relations with special emphasis on the Delhi Ordinance or the Government of NCT (amendment) Bill, 2023.

7. Group of Twenty (G20)
Agenda: The role of digitisation in tackling current economic and political issues and addressing the tax challenges arising out of the digitisation of the economy.

8. Constituent Assembly of India (CAI)
Agenda: Discussion on the inclusion of special provisions for the State of Jammu and Kashmir in the Indian constitution.

9. International Press
