About the Competition
The International Children's Online Painting Competition, organized by Kerala Tourism, is a prestigious event targeting school students worldwide. The competition showcases the creativity and artistic skills of children, while providing an opportunity to explore the captivating beauty of Kerala's destinations.
Competition Theme: Kerala Village Life
The theme of the competition revolves around the enchanting and vibrant culture of Kerala's villages. Participants are encouraged to paint or draw artworks that depict various aspects of Kerala village life, immersing themselves in the rich heritage and traditions of the state.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to children aged between 4 and 16 years, from any part of the world. Parents or guardians can register on behalf of their wards, and each participant can submit a maximum of five entries.
Submission Format
Participants are required to manually create their artwork on paper using crayons, color pencils, paint and brush, or sketch pens. Digital or mechanically generated artworks will not be accepted. The artwork should then be digitized and uploaded to the Kerala Tourism contest page, with a file size not exceeding 5 MB.
Prizes
The competition offers a range of exciting prizes in different categories:
- A Trip to Kerala from Any Part of the World: Three winners from across all categories will receive a sponsored five-day trip to visit Kerala's destinations, along with a souvenir and certificate.
- A Trip to Kerala from Anywhere in India: Five winners from within India will win a five-day family trip to Kerala, with two accompanying members.
- Stay Close to Nature: The top three winners from within Kerala will receive a booking coupon for a 2-night stay at a premium property in Kerala, along with a memento and certificate.
- Charming Gifts: Attractive gifts will be awarded to 20 winners from outside India, 30 winners from within India, and 20 winners from within Kerala.
Additionally, there are special prizes for promoters who bring in a maximum number of entrants to the contest. Promoters from outside India and promoters from India (outside Kerala) can win a five-day package to visit Kerala's destinations.
Registration and Submission Dates
Registration for the competition can be done on the official website from April 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023. Participants can upload their paintings during this period.
Certificate of Participation
All participants will receive an online digital Certificate of Participation, which can be downloaded within 6 months of the declaration of the results.
Participation in the competition is free, and the prizes must be taken as offered without a cash alternative.
